BEATRICE'S STORY

Beatrice completed a degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Queensland in 2003. Her passion for nutrition and clean living led her to complete qualifications in integrative nutrition and health coaching. She has completed a Level 1 Occupational Physiotherapy course, a Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy course, is a certified holistic health coach (IIN), has a Certificate 3 in fitness (group fitness instructor) and is a leader in the Stanford's Chronic Diseases Self Management Course. She has additional qualifications in pilates, kinetic link training, RPM, hydrotherapy and mindset training. She has a wide range of experience in different settings. Current and past clients include the Queensland Reds Rugby Union team, The University of Queensland, Anglicare, Wesley Mission Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Medibank's Feel Good Program, Fitness First, real estate businesses, Goodlife, Zest and private practice.

Beatrice suffered from chronic fatigue in her 20s. She found that her punishing  gym regimen and restrictive low fat diet contributed to her fatigue. Her experience in overcoming this led to Beatrice's philosophy that a healthy body and a healthy mind come from nourishing yourself rather than depriving yourself. Her mission is to assist others to nourish their whole selves- not just their physical body but their emotional well being and lifestyle.

Whatever your wellness goals are in terms of your health- weight loss, happiness, increased energy, workplace wellness, healthier meals, doing regular exercise, managing the stress in your life, decreasing toxins in your home and beauty products or reducing your risk of chronic diseases- the changes you need to make start by valuing yourself and nourishing yourself.

Beatrice is a mother to two wonderful girls. She understands that when you are feeling well and are looking after yourself, your whole family benefits. She works with tired, stressed mums implement healthy changes to their lives so that they have more energy, less stress and feel good.

Beatrice is an experienced health and wellness presenter and is regularly asked to speak at corporate wellness events on topics such as mindfulness and stress management. She proudly supports Clean Up Australia Day, Beyond Blue and her local schools. 

 

Beatrice is also the co-founder and presenter of Healthtalks with Dr Maria Boulton and she works closely with GPs, medical specialists, allied health and holistic health professionals.

 

Beatrice is very down to earth, calm and friendly. With her background in physiotherapy her clients are provided with evidence based, practical solutions rather than health trends and fads.
